 Abbie Cornish is an Australian artist and actress. She began modeling when she was 13 years old . Her first acting gig was at 15. Following her modeling career, she was able to be seen in a variety of films and TV shows. Cornish is well-known for her roles in historical films such as 'Elizabeth: Golden Age,' the courtier Bess Tharockmorton, and the heroin addict in Candy. She was also in the role of Lindy in the sci fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic 'Bright Star. On TV, she is well-known for her role in 'Outriders' and 'Marking Time'. As a performer and rapper, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk'. Born in New South Wales and raised in a family of three brothers and one sister, she enjoyed a decent childhood until her parents divorced when she turned 16. Abbie is an extremely strong woman who managed to overcome the difficult divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty enjoys playing the piano and guitar, but she prefers acting to everything else. She is the second daughter of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. She is the older sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress.
